Opposition Avoidance or Mutual Engagement? The Interdependent Dynamics between Opposing Transnational LGBT+ Networks

Abstract Embeddedness within transnational networks influences how countries govern LGBT+ communities. Research commonly highlights pro-LGBT+ enable the expansion of rights; however, increased coordination between anti-LGBT+ actors means network embeddedness also leads to policy backlash. Therefore, an important question ask is: why are differentially embedded these opposing begin with? Moreover, does in one influence other over time?
